What You’ll Be Doing:
- Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to drive renewal and generate new business within your assigned territory or product line.
- Sell Synopsys products and services through both telephone and face-to-face interactions, adapting your approach to suit each client.
- Identify customer pain points, negative consequences, and desired outcomes to present compelling solutions tied to Synopsys' unique value proposition.
- Create and maintain comprehensive account plans for existing customers, highlighting opportunities for growth and increased value.
- Research and develop prospective customer leads, expanding your reach within existing accounts and into new groups.
- Draft clear and effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, account teams, sales management, accounting, legal, and technical services to provide a unified client experience.
- Provide accurate forecasts for new sales and renewal revenues, contributing to strategic planning and goal setting.
- Participate in trade shows, conventions, and schedule training and seminars to enhance business opportunities and build your network.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or a related field with at least 1+ years of professional experience OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Fluency in both English and German to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within Germany.
- Basic understanding of engineering analysis and technology, with a desire to learn more.
- Knowledge of the specific territory, product line, or customer base is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities, priorities, and track progress efficiently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal.
- Sales fundamentals understanding or demonstrated aptitude to learn quickly.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and deliver appropriate solutions for customers.
