You Are

You bring deep, hands-on experience in benefits delivery and understand that the effectiveness of a program often depends on the details behind the scenes. You recognize the importance of strong vendor partnerships during critical moments, careful attention to compliance requirements, and continuous process improvements that enhance both efficiency and employee experience.

You are comfortable reviewing renewal proposals and identifying key considerations, including potential gaps or areas requiring further clarification. Having managed benefits across multiple countries, you understand that global frameworks require thoughtful adaptation to local realities, both in language and in operational execution, to be effective.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day delivery of health, retirement, risk, and leave benefit programs across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring local compliance and alignment with global benefits guidelines, including compensation.
  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert on EMEA benefits, providing guidance on plan design considerations, governance, and alignment with global benefits principles
  • Own vendor and broker relationships across the region, managing renewals, service delivery issues, contract negotiations, and ongoing performance
  • Coordinate annual renewal cycles, plan updates, and cost reviews in partnership with brokers, Finance, and local People Partner teams
  • Support benefits harmonization projects, M&A activity, and new country setups, including due diligence, implementation planning, and employee communications
  • Administer statutory and company leave programs across EMEA, partnering with Payroll, HR Operations, and Legal to manage complex cases and regulatory changes
  • Review benefits utilization data, cost trends, and program performance by country to support informed decision-making and budget planning
  • Provide recommendations based on market trends, regulatory developments, and internal data to inform benefits decisions across the region
  • Maintain benefits documentation, SharePoint content, and employee-facing materials, and coordinate regional benefits communications and inquiry responses

The Impact You Will Have

  • Ensure benefits programs across EMEA are delivered consistently, compliantly, and in alignment with global standards while meeting local needs.
  • Strengthen vendor partnerships and operational delivery, enabling a reliable and high-quality employee experience.
  • Drive data-informed decisions that improve cost management, program effectiveness, and overall value.
  • Influence regional benefits direction by translating global strategy into practical, locally relevant solutions across EMEA
  • Support successful benefits harmonization, M&A transitions, and market expansions with minimal disruption to employees.
  • Enhance efficiency and consistency through process improvements and scalable solutions.
  • Deliver clear, accessible benefits communication that helps employees understand and fully leverage their programs.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships that enable seamless and compliant benefits delivery across the region.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of benefits administration or program management experience, or advanced degree and 6+ years of experience
  • Hands-on experience managing employee benefits programs across multiple European countries, including health, retirement, and statutory leave
  • Direct experience managing vendor and broker relationships, including renewals, service delivery oversight, and contract negotiations
  • Working knowledge of EMEA benefits compliance requirements and local labor laws across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience supporting M&A benefits integration, country transitions, or benefits harmonization projects is a plus
  • Proficiency with benefits administration systems and data analysis tools to track utilization, costs, and trends
  • Ability to work across Finance, Payroll, HR Operations, and Legal teams to resolve complex benefits and leave issues

Who You Are

  • You bring clarity to complex or ambiguous benefits questions, translating them into clear, concise guidance that helps employees confidently understand their options.
  • You have successfully turned around underperforming vendor partnerships by setting clear expectations, building accountability, and following through to improve outcomes.
  • You manage multi-country renewals with confidence, bringing structure, organization, and calm to complex, fast-moving work.
  • You operate with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring seamless execution—particularly during periods of change such as M&A transitions.
  • You are comfortable making informed recommendations even when data is incomplete, asking the right questions and applying sound judgment to move work forward.
  • You thoughtfully evaluate global policies against local realities and proactively propose practical, well-considered solutions.
  • You are confident in your expertise, while also maintaining the curiosity and openness to seek out answers when needed.
  • You recognize patterns in data and recurring issues, and focus on addressing root causes to drive long-term improvements.
  • You effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines, maintaining focus and quality in a dynamic environment.
  • You use sound judgment to determine when to resolve issues independently and when to appropriately escalate.

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will be part of the global benefits team, contributing to the strategy, design, governance, and administration of programs that empower our people while collaborating closely with colleagues across regions to deliver programs that support Synopsys employees worldwide.
