Staff Analog Design Engineer
This position requires a highly motivated and experienced circuit designer to work with our mixed signal analog design team on collaborating and integrating leading edge custom designed IP into our final product for next generation DDR/LPDDR/HBM IP. We are seeking a high-energy, results driven engineer with a take charge leadership style and attentiveness to design performance, quality, schedule, and current and future customer needs. You would leverage your strong understanding of circuit simulation and circuit layout as well as knowledge of bipolar, CMOS, passive structure, and interconnect failure modes.
Key Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree with demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in a product managing role for mixed signal IP
  • Technical understanding of DDR5/4/3, LPDDR5x/5/4x/4 are a plus
  • In depth familiarity with transistor level circuit design - sound CMOS design fundamentals is a must
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills is a must
  • Experience with FinFET technologies is a plus.
  • Detailed design experience with at least one, and familiarity with several other DDR or SerDes sub-circuits:
  • receive equalizers, samplers, voltage/current-mode drivers, serializers, de-serializers, voltage-controlled oscillator, phase mixer, delay-locked loop, phase locked loop, bandgap reference, ADC, DAC
  • Aware of ESD issues (i.e. circuit techniques, layout)
  • Familiarity with custom high speed digital design.
  • Knowledge of design for reliability (i.e. EM, IR, aging, etc.).
  • Knowledge of layout effects (i.e. matching, reliability, proximity effects, etc.)
  • Experience with tools for schematic entry, physical layout, and design verification.
  • Hands-on experience with physical layout of high-speed circuits is a plus
  • Knowledge of SPICE simulators and simulation methods.
  • Knowledgeable in Verilog-A for analog behavioral modeling and simulation-control/data-capture.
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and/or Automotive applications is also helpful
  • Accustomed to working in a cross-functional, globally diverse environment and at all levels of an organization
  • Available to travel worldwide
