You Are:
You are a highly skilled and innovative R&D Engineer with a passion for optimizing compute infrastructure and resource management. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can apply your deep technical expertise to manage large-scale simulation workloads efficiently. You are adept at identifying opportunities for automation and workflow optimization, using your proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Tcl to develop custom solutions that enhance productivity. Your strong analytical thinking skills allow you to tackle complex simulation and infrastructure challenges, constantly seeking new methodologies to improve accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency. You communicate effectively, delivering high-level executive summaries and technical reports that provide clear insights and recommendations to stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing:
 * Manage and optimize compute and disk resources to support large-scale simulation workloads.
 * Monitor and troubleshoot compute infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
 * Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to scale resources as needed for complex simulation tasks.
 * Develop and implement strategies for efficient resource utilization, including job scheduling, load balancing, and storage optimization.
 * Identify opportunities for automation in simulation workflows and implement solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
 * Develop custom scripts and tools using Python, Tcl, or other programming languages to automate repetitive tasks and enhance simulation processes.
 * Integrate automation solutions into existing workflows, ensuring seamless operation and scalability.
 * Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies to continuously improve automation capabilities.

What You’ll Need:
* In-depth knowledge of compute infrastructure, including high-performance computing (HPC) environments, job schedulers (e.g., LSF), and disk storage systems.
* ,Proficiency in simulation methodologies, including corner analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and parasitic extraction.
 * Experience with automation scripting using Python, Tcl, or similar languages.
 * Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex simulation and infrastructure issues.
 * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
 * 3 or more years of experience in a relevant area.
