Synopsys is looking for a motivated individual to work in our Silicon Lifecycle Analytics Operations team. As Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a key role in designing and developing programmatic infrastructure and automation to build, maintain and improve the Synopsys Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy and maintain public cloud and private infrastructure to support Synopsys SaaS offerings
• Automate - as much as possible - all technical operations
• Set up monitoring, logging and tracing tools to detect and fix any potential issues
• Troubleshoot cloud/on-premise infrastructure, systems, network and application stacks

Skills and Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science/Information Technology. MS is preferred
• Typically requires 2+ years of experience in software engineering, operations engineering or similar discipline
• Good communication skills, ability to interact with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in English

Technical background:

• Solid knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker
• Significant experience with infrastructure as code tools (Kustomize, Kubespray, Terraform, Ansible...)
• Experience with GitOps tools (Flux or ArgoCD)
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Knowledge of one or more languages (Python, Go, Perl, Java...)
• Experience building scalable infrastructure in one public cloud provider is a distinct advantage
• Knowledge in Jenkins or similar tool for CI/CD is an advantage
