You Are:
You are a highly motivated and innovative ASIC Digital Design engineer with a deep understanding of ASIC Digital development flow. You possess a degree in engineering or applied science and have over 8 years of experience in IC design flows with proficiency in Verilog/VHDL. Your strong knowledge in the DSP area, coupled with your scripting and programming skills in Unix Shell, Python, Perl, and TCL, sets you apart. You are familiar with SystemVerilog, VMM, OVM, or UVM and have a knack for producing high-quality technical documentation. Your organizational skills and proficiency in English communication are top-notch, and you are always eager to learn new things and work as part of a team. You are brave in the presence of the unknown, develop systematic ways to address new problems, think outside of the box, and produce high-quality work and products. Your contributions will have a significant impact on new product architectures, quality, and development strategies. Additionally, you have the potential to write patents for any inventions you create.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reviewing SerDes standards and architecture documents to develop analog sub-block specifications;
- Identifying and refining circuit implementations to achieve optimal power, area, and performance targets;
- Proposing design and verification strategies that efficiently use simulator features to ensure the highest quality design;
- Participating in complex block and/or chip planning and architecture studies;
- Implementing mixed-signal blocks using Verilog;
- Engaging in behavioral modeling activities using Verilog/SystemVerilog language;
- Continuously documenting and improving design and verification environments/plans and overall procedures.

What You’ll Need:
- A degree in engineering or applied science;
- Experience in producing high-quality technical documentation;
- 8+ years of experience in IC design flows and exposure to Verilog/VHDL;
- Strong knowledge in the DSP area;
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (Unix Shell, Python, Perl, TCL);
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VMM, OVM, or UVM - Nice to have: Knowledge of MIPI or similar protocols.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
You will be working with a skilled team of digital and mixed-signal engineers delivering high-end designs from specification development to functional and performance testing on test-chips. The PHY development environment is dynamic and full of challenges, providing continuous learning opportunities. You will receive initial training from top experts and ongoing on-the-job training. Your role will be pivotal in targeting the current and next generation of USB/PCIe/DPHY/CDPHY/MPHY/DP/HDMI products.
