- Support organizational agility by identifying and resolving roadblocks, enabling teams to adapt to evolving requirements.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management within engineering, ideally in semiconductor, IP, or ASIC design environments.
- Formal project management certification or demonstrable experience (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).
- Strong understanding of IP and SoC development processes, including technical and lifecycle aspects.
- Hands-on experience with UNIX operating systems, MS Project, and MS Excel for planning and tracking.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for reporting and analysis.
- Proven ability to implement and improve project management methodologies and tools in a matrix organization.
Who You Are:
- Influential leader with strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively across multiple teams and organizational boundaries.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, adept at conveying complex information to diverse audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
- Creative problem-solver with a track record of navigating complexity and ambiguity.
- Committed to personal and professional development, with formal training in communication, negotiation, moderation, and leadership.
The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
You’ll join the SerDes project management department, a dynamic group of engineering leaders and program managers who oversee a portfolio of interconnected projects. The team is dedicated to ensuring customer commitments are met within agreed-upon time, cost, and performance parameters. Through programmatic grouping and collaborative decision-making, the team delivers enhanced risk management, synergy, and visibility for all stakeholders—driving Synopsys’ continued success in the semiconductor industry.
