Our Product Management Group for Systems is dedicated to enabling customers to adopt a software-first approach to building and testing high-performance embedded systems. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Guide customer engineering teams in transitioning from hardware-based development tools (HiLs, test rigs, PiLs) to advanced virtual prototyping and simulation environments.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations, evaluations, and training sessions to showcase Synopsys virtualization and digital twin technologies.
  • Provide expert support for product usage, troubleshooting, and tracking issues reported by customers, ensuring high satisfaction and successful implementations.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer technical leaders to identify business challenges and develop effective technical solutions for new and existing accounts.
  • Contribute feedback to R&D teams to enhance product features based on customer needs and industry trends.
  • Promote Synopsys technologies at trade shows, seminars, and industry events, acting as a brand ambassador and thought leader.

What You’ll Need:

  • Thorough understanding of automotive software development processes, tool chains, and ECU architectures.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python, preferably with a background in embedded software development.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, or related field, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.


What is nice for You to have:

  • Previous experience in an Application Engineering position.
  • Knowledge about and experience in basic software stacks commonly found in automotive.
  • Understanding of automotive standards such as A2L, XIL, AUTOSAR, FMI, MDF, PAR, DCM, POSIX, ISO26262.
  • Expertise in automotive protocols and services such as CAN, FlexRay, XCP and Ethernet including Some/IP and DoIP.
  • Experience with SiL (Software in the Loop) solutions.
  • Experience with simulation, testing and calibration tools used in the industry.
  • Knowledge of processors such as ARM, TriCore, PowerPC.
  • Knowledge about test automation, continuous integration and test (like Jenkins).
  • Experience with cloud based development and test environment.
