You know the difference between a model that technically functions and one that a sales ops leader can actually use on a Tuesday morning when comp plans are shifting and quotas need recalculating. You do not just build what you are asked to build. You ask why, you push back when a requirement does not make sense, and you propose a better way forward.

You are comfortable sitting with a GTM leader talking through a sales compensation scenario and walking out with a functional spec that accounts for edge cases they had not even thought of yet. Ambiguity does not slow you down. You work with what you have, fill in the gaps, and move. You have built enough models to know what breaks at scale, and you design around it from the start. At Synopsys, you will shape how a global sales organization plans, compensates, and operates, and the models you build will be used every day by teams across the company.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build, modify, and maintain Anaplan models for GTM Sales Compensation and Sales Planning use cases across a global sales organization
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from sales ops leaders and translate them into functional specs, use cases, and multi-dimensional Anaplan models
  • Migrate existing spreadsheet-based processes and legacy solutions into scalable Anaplan models that support connected planning
  • Lead data integration, UAT testing, and deployment for new models and enhancements, ensuring accuracy and adoption
  • Represent GTM Sales Operations in the Anaplan Corporate Center of Excellence, driving alignment and shared best practices across functional areas
  • Perform root cause analysis when models or processes break, propose solutions, and implement fixes that prevent recurrence
  • Document models, workflows, and business logic so that others can understand, maintain, and build on your work

  • Build a foundation for future GTM automation and digital transformation initiatives

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or FP&A, with hands-on Anaplan model building experience
  • Anaplan Model Builder Level 3 certification
  • Proven experience building Anaplan models for Sales Compensation use cases is a strong plus
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience, you know how to structure data and logic that scales
  • Willingness to work partially during US time zone hours to collaborate with global stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of sales operations processes, including territory planning, quota management, and comp plan design

  • You are comfortable being the Anaplan expert in the room and the person others come to when something is not working

The Team You'll Be Part Of

You will join the GTM Sales Operations team, working closely with sales leadership, compensation analysts, and planning teams to build the systems that power how Synopsys plans and pays its global sales organization. You will also represent this team in the Anaplan Corporate Center of Excellence, collaborating with peers across Finance, HR, and other functions to drive connected planning at scale.
