Job Description
Seeking a highly motivated & talented individual for Physical Design Manager role, with expertise in physical implementation for a group with growth opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for the Physical Implementation of high speed interface IPs, test-chips and subsystems driving all aspects from RTL to GDS including timing and physical sign-off, in close interaction and collaborative team work with multiple functional groups (Digital, Analog, CAD) and the product team.
Key Responsibility:
-Physical design RTL2GDS implementation of complex IPs, testchips and subsystem.
-Building, mentoring and leading the design team in different Physical Design technologies for advanced technology nodes
-Manage a team of highly skilled engineers and drive them to deliver in aggressive benchmark situations
-Define Physical Implementation Methodology, Scheduling, Assignment & Tracking of different design milestones
-Ability to work as part of a global team and lead the team with technical direction
-Autonomous, timely decision maker and able to cope with interrupts
Preferred Experience & Requirement:
-Should have at least 10+ years of relevant experience in Physical Design, supporting / handling the complex design
-Previous project leadership/team management experience
-Very strong knowledge of physical design concepts (Synthesis, Floorplanning, PG, PnR, Physical verification, STA, IR/EM )
-Knowledge of Synopsys tools -Design Compiler, Primetime SI, ICC/ICC2/Fusion Compiler, Star-RCXT
-Proficient with physical verification tools and flows – ICV LVS, DRC, ERC
-Good knowledge of scripting (Perl, Tcl, Python), CAD automation method and proficient with Industry EDA tools
