You Are:

You are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for technology and a knack for problem-solving. With a B.Tech/M.Tech/MS degree in Electronics/VLSI and 3-5 years of industry experience in the Physical Verification (PV) domain, you have a deep understanding of transistor CMOS layouts and ASIC design flows. Your proficiency with Perl/Tcl, Unix, and HDL (Verilog/VHDL) is complemented by your strong grasp of VLSI and CAD engineering. Experience with competitive EDA tool products like Calibre, Assura, and PVS, and a thorough knowledge of foundry processes and DFM requirements, are essential. You are a team player capable of guiding junior team members and possess excellent communication skills to interact with customers and Field Application Engineers (FAEs), understanding and addressing their needs promptly. Your expertise in developing and validating PV runsets for tools like ICV, PVS/Pegasus, and Calibre, coupled with your programming skills in Perl/Tcl/Python, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and qualifying DRC/LVS/Fill runsets (rule deck files) for Synopsys tool IC Validator for cutting-edge technologies and leading foundries.
  • Engaging in various automation activities to qualify the IC Validator runset.
  • Interacting with customers and FAEs to understand requirements and provide timely, quality solutions.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure the robustness and accuracy of runsets.
  • Guiding junior team members and providing technical mentorship.
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in EDA tools and foundry processes to continuously improve runset development.

What You’ll Need:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech/MS degree in Electronics/VLSI domain.
  • 3-5 years of industry experience in the PV domain.
  • Proficiency with Perl/Tcl, Unix, and HDL (Verilog/VHDL).
  • Strong understanding of ASIC design flow, VLSI, and/or CAD engineering.
