What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving product sales activities for new and renewal business across assigned product lines to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborating with field and enterprise sales teams, and channel partners, to develop and execute strategies that boost product and service revenue.
- Managing all stages of the sales process, from initial engagement to closing deals.
- Facilitating communication among sales, technical, and marketing teams to share product updates, success stories, and effective sales strategies.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Participating in industry shows and conventions to represent Synopsys and stay informed about market trends.
- Creating and leading advanced solution presentations, aligning Synopsys products and services with customer needs and highlighting competitive advantages.
- Coordinating technical support for demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, evaluations, and training sessions.
- Developing clear and compelling written proposals, quotations, and value propositions for customers.
- Gathering client feedback and sharing it with product development and marketing teams to influence future product enhancements.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field with at least 4 years of sales or consulting experience in engineering/technology applications; or 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in engineering analysis and technology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and across interdisciplinary teams.
- Experience collaborating with distributed teams across multiple global sites.
- Fluency in English and Japanese (local language of the territory).
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events.
- Knowledge of company products/services and pricing practices (preferred).
- Understanding of product market positioning and competitive landscape.
- Aptitude for problem-solving and determining appropriate customer solutions.
- Ability to network effectively using various channels (face-to-face, email, phone, social media).
- Experience with optics & photonics simulation products or designing optics & photonics products (preferred).
