We Are:

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are:

You thrive at the intersection of deep technical understanding and market impact. You know how to take complex LPDDR and HBM PHY technologies and turn them into clear, compelling stories that resonate with customers and sales teams alike. You’re comfortable owning the full picture—from shaping marketing and business plans to driving pre-sales technical programs that clearly differentiate Synopsys’ IP in a competitive landscape. You enjoy building the foundations that enable success: defining sales collateral, technical requirements, competitive analyses, pricing and packaging strategies, and product positioning that stand up to scrutiny. You don’t just contribute to content—you drive it, ensuring datasheets, white papers, technical presentations, and internal tools are accurate, up to date, and genuinely useful. When customers ask for customizations, you know how to partner with Sales and R&D to translate those needs into clear quotes and viable solutions. You’re at ease being the technical point person when questions come in from Synopsys’ global sales organization. Whether reviewing contracts that specify PHY customizations, leading pre-sales discussions, or presenting technical material directly to customers, you bring clarity and confidence to the conversation. You enjoy representing Synopsys externally—authoring white papers, presenting at industry events like SNUG, DesignCon, JEDEC forums, and webinars, and helping shape how the market understands our technology. You’re drawn to complex problems where there’s no obvious answer, and you’re comfortable navigating ambiguity. You evaluate multiple factors, apply sound judgment, and choose the right approach rather than the easy one. You know when to work independently and when to pull in the right stakeholders to move things forward. At your best, you’re not just responding to the market—you’re helping set the strategic vision and product direction alongside customers, R&D, and applications engineering teams. At Synopsys, this is a role where your technical credibility, market insight, and initiative directly influence how leading-edge memory IP succeeds in the marketplace—and where your work shapes what comes next.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support sales teams by responding to customer requests, including databooks, product information, and technical collateral
  • Review customer requirements to ensure sufficient technical detail and alignment with intended use cases
  • Enter, track, and manage customer requests and inquiries within internal systems such as Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools
  • Develop and process customer-facing IP quotes, including requests for product enhancements or customizations, working closely with Sales and R&D
  • Deliver and own customer presentations, maintaining and updating existing materials as products and protocols evolve (PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Product Managers, and R&D through ongoing meetings and cross-functional engagement
  • Engage directly with customers to support IP evaluations and guide memory protocol selection decisions

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Drive revenue growth by enabling customers to confidently evaluate, select, and adopt Synopsys memory interface IP
  • Build and strengthen long-term customer trust through deep, credible technical engagement
  • Ensure Synopsys memory IP is clearly differentiated and effectively positioned against competing solutions
  • Act as a critical bridge between Sales, R&D, and customers, helping accelerate IP evaluations and shorten adoption cycles
  • Influence future IP direction by translating customer feedback and market insights into clear product requirements

What You'll Need:

  • BS with 9+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 7+ years of relevant experience in a technical role in the high-tech industry
  • Technical familiarity with JEDEC standard DDR, LPDDR, or HBM SDRAM interfaces is a must
  • Technical orientation and understanding of the ASIC design process is preferred
  • Strong background in system design, signal integrity, and timing closure is a big plus
  • Must have the knowledge and confidence to interact with a technical audience, a strong desire to learn, exceptional communication (written and verbal), and great presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, cross-functional management, and experience working in larger teams
  • Experience working closely with Sales and Product Management to ensure alignment and relay customer technical needs to R&D

Who You Are:

  • You see the big picture but sweat the technical details when it matters
  • You can explain memory protocol tradeoffs to a customer or a VP in two sentences without losing the nuance
  • You lead by example, building trust with sales, engineering, and customers through follow-through and technical credibility
  • You move quickly, triaging customer requests and internal priorities without dropping the ball
  • You ask the questions others avoid and push for clarity when requirements are ambiguous
  • You bring people together across functions, making sure no critical voice is left out of the process

The Team You'll Be Part Of:

Join a high‑caliber team dedicated to defining and driving the Memory Interface IP portfolio, ensuring continuity in customer engagement, technical guidance, and product positioning across DDR, LPDDR, and HBM protocols.

Rewards and Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.
