You Are:
You are an accomplished technical leader with a solid foundation in PHY design and communications protocols. With over eight years of experience, you possess a deep understanding of protocol assessment and have honed your expertise in high-speed serial link analysis. You thrive in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments and have a proven track record of guiding teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your background in electronic engineering equips you to tackle complex challenges across analog, digital, and hardware domains, while your familiarity with modeling tools such as MATLAB sets you apart in your field.
A collaborative mindset defines your leadership style; you excel at fostering teamwork, motivating others, and building consensus across diverse technical groups. Your attention to detail ensures quality and precision in every project you oversee, and your decision-making skills shine even under pressure. What You’ll Be Doing:
Leading PHY protocol assessment work, translating standard requirements into PHY block level specifications and verification methodologies.
Collaborating closely with design teams to conduct rapid studies, evaluate solutions, and assess tradeoffs for design issues.
Generating, managing, and reviewing protocol disclaimers in Statements of Work (SoW) and DataBooks.
Providing expert presales and post-sales system support, resolving customer queries and technical cases.
Mentoring and developing engineering talent within the team, driving a culture of technical excellence.
The Impact You Will Have:
Ensure the reliability and scalability of Synopsys PHYs by rigorously assessing the supported protocols.
Enhance customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective system support during presales and post-sales engagements.
Shape the technical direction and best practices of PHY design teams.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, enabling rapid innovation and solution development for challenging design issues.
Champion continuous improvement, implementing new methodologies and tools to elevate product performance and quality.
What You’ll Need:
Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in analog design, communications protocols, or related technical roles.
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing link budgets for high-speed serial links.
Proficiency in SerDes transmitters and receivers.
Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and customer-facing materials.
Availability to travel internationally up to 3-4 times per year.
