You Are:

You are a motivated and talented Junior Engineer with a passion for high-speed communication systems and a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles. You have a solid understanding of control theory, stochastic processes, and probability theory, and you possess programming skills in MATLAB or Python. Your analytical and problem-solving abilities are top-notch, and you excel in a collaborative environment where teamwork and communication are key.


With a keen interest in SerDes technology, you are eager to develop and refine models, automate processes, and contribute to the design and validation of cutting-edge ICs. You are curious, innovative, and ready to tackle the challenges inherent in high-speed data communication. Your background may include hands-on experience with SerDes design or modeling, knowledge of machine-learning techniques, and familiarity with high-speed data communication standards and protocols.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and refine analog and mixed-mode SerDes models.
  • Automate model extraction and correlation procedures.
  • Perform channel simulations to validate model accuracy.
  • Identify optimal model structures for new scenarios.
  • Document modeling processes and results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to design and validate high-speed communication systems.

  • Enhance the performance and reliability of our SerDes products.
  • Contribute to the development of high-speed communication solutions for various markets, including Mobile, Automotive, Cloud Computing, HPC, AI, and Storage.

  • Help Synopsys maintain its leadership in the semiconductor industry.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the system architecture team.


What You’ll Need:

  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of control theory and its application to electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in stochastic processes and probability theory applied to electrical engineering.
  • Programming skills in MATLAB or Python.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
