You Are:

You are an innovative and detail-oriented SerDes System Architecture expert with a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology. With a solid background in communications theory, high-speed analog CMOS circuit design, and system-level verification, you thrive in a collaborative environment. You possess a strong understanding of equalization techniques, coding, and noise/crosstalk filtering, and are proficient in C/Matlab/System Verilog modeling. Your expertise extends to script languages such as Python, and you have a proven track record of examining link budgets for high-speed serial links. You are knowledgeable about circuit topologies in high-speed Rx/Tx SerDes PHY and CDR architectures, and have experience with IBIS-AMI modeling.  You are eager to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies and make a significant impact in the field.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional design team of analog and digital designers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Involving in all stages of development, including architecture/specifications for the transmitter and receiver.
  • Performing system-level verification of design performance across various protocols and channels.
  • Working on the qualification and correlation of performance and algorithms in silicon.
  • Utilizing your expertise in high-speed analog CMOS circuit design to push the boundaries of technology.
  • Examining link budgets and implementing Tx/Rx equalization techniques for high-speed serial links.

What You’ll Need:

  • MSc or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering. 
  • Ideally you have at least 1 year of relevant professional experience. 
  • Solid background in communications theory – equalization, coding, noise/crosstalk filtering.
  • Experience in C/Matlab/System Verilog modeling of circuits and systems.
  • Knowledgeable about script languages such as Python.
  • Experience in high-speed analog CMOS circuit design and examining link budgets for high-speed serial links.
