We Are:
At Synopsys, we drive the innovations that shape the way we live and connect. Our technology is central to the Era of Pervasive Intelligence, from self-driving cars to learning machines. We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.
You Are:
You are an early-career web developer who does well in a small, highly effective team where individual work has clear impact. You take ownership of assigned work, ask good questions, and grow toward delivering features with increasing independence.
You listen, write in clear language, and leave work that others can run and extend. You are comfortable discussing both user needs and implementation details as you learn from more experienced teammates.
This is a full-time role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise web applications and services.
Work across the full technology stack, including front-end, back-end, database, and cloud components, with guidance from senior engineers.
Implement solutions using the PANN technology stack and associated development frameworks.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, product, and business teams to deliver high-value solutions.
Build intuitive and effective user experiences that simplify complex workflows.
Help design and optimize relational and non-relational database solutions.
Contribute to AI-enabled capabilities that support automation, data analysis, content generation, and knowledge extraction.
Support integrations between business systems, knowledge repositories, and AI services.
Learn emerging technologies and help apply practical solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and user productivity.
Support operational excellence through monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
The Impact You Will Have:
Help deliver critical internal platforms and business capabilities.
Improve employee productivity through intelligent automation and AI-driven workflows.
Enable better decision-making through effective access to organizational knowledge and data.
Contribute to scalable solutions that can be adopted across multiple business functions.
Reduce manual effort and operational overhead through automation and system integration.
Support a growing platform that serves strategic business initiatives.
Make visible contributions in a small team where individual impact is highly valued.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Typically 2 to 4 years developing web applications. Stronger evidence of full-stack delivery can offset fewer years.
Required experience with the PANN technology stack (PostgreSQL, Angular, NestJS, Node.js) and modern web development frameworks.
Familiarity with microservices architectures, or a strong interest in learning them in production.
Experience using Prisma for data modeling, database access, and schema migrations, or equivalent ORM experience you can transfer.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and modern application architectures.
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with containerizing applications and services with Docker or Kubernetes, and with web servers, load balancers, and reverse proxies such as Nginx and Apache.
Exposure to cloud-based application development and deployment.
Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment pipelines.
Practical exposure to AI technologies, including large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge extraction, and automation workflows.
Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding principles.
Experience integrating systems through APIs and data services, including through coursework or projects.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Who You Are:
Eager to learn and comfortable asking for help when needed.
Able to take ownership of assigned work and follow through.
Curious about emerging technologies and eager to apply them to real business problems.
A strong problem solver who can work with incomplete information and still deliver practical outcomes.
Customer-focused and attentive to user experience.
Collaborative and effective with people outside your own function.
Comfortable working in a small team where ownership and accountability are expected.
Results-oriented and focused on delivering measurable business value.
The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
Our team develops platforms and capabilities that help scale cybersecurity, compliance, engineering, and business operations across the organization. We operate with a startup mindset, focusing on high-impact initiatives, rapid execution, and practical innovation. You will work closely with a small group of technical and domain experts to build solutions that enable automation, knowledge management, and data-driven decision making.
Rewards and Benefits:
We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings.
