You Are:

An experienced, strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain management and commodity sourcing. You bring a wealth of knowledge in EE commodities, including power, memory, and integrated circuits (ICs). Your background in hardware manufacturing operations and your proficiency with PDM tools (Arena or Agile) and ERP systems make you a valuable asset. With at least 8 years of experience in Supply Chain and Commodity Management, you are adept at working with cross-functional teams to drive cost reductions, manage supplier relationships, and mitigate supply risks. Your strong communication and negotiation skills enable you to influence design decisions and secure favorable contracts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing a commodity strategy and technology roadmap that aligns with business and technology requirements.
  • Collaborating with Engineering to influence design decisions and achieve business objectives.
  • Assessing current and future sourcing requirements with cross-functional teams.
  • Creating and implementing commodity sourcing strategies, including contract negotiations, cost targets, and supply risk mitigation.
  • Negotiating global spend and driving cost reductions for key commodities.
  • Identifying and executing new opportunities for cost savings and avoidance.
  • Managing supplier relationships, including performance, capability development, and quality improvements.
  • Analyzing BOM risk and qualifying alternative sources to ensure supply continuity.
  • Monitoring commodity market conditions and advising management on supply chain strategies.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Supply Chain and Commodity Management.
  • Knowledge of EE commodities (Power, Memory, IC’s), Power Supply, and Fans.
  • Proven experience in commodity management and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in hardware manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency with PDM tools (Arena or Agile) and ERP systems.
