You Are:

You are a seasoned business development professional with a robust background in System Solutions, specifically focused on Digital Twins. You possess a blend of strategic vision and tactical expertise, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and creating innovative solutions. Your established executive connections at target customers, particularly within Automotive and Aerospace sectors, make you a key player in defining strategic directions and growing market share. With a minimum of 25 years in the semiconductor and EDA industry and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science, you bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. You are entrepreneurial, creative, and have a history of successful deal closures and ecosystem relationship building. Your high energy, growth mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills make you a standout leader who can effectively manage projects and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Defining and executing a multi-year business plan aimed at double digit revenue growth.
  • Developing business development initiatives to enable both push and pull-through business strategies.
  • Collaborating with the sales team on account strategies, business proposals, and closing deals.
  • Driving executive relationship campaigns in partnership with the sales team.
  • Connecting Synopsys executives with decision-makers to foster new business opportunities.
  • Engaging with customers and leading researchers to stay up-to-date with industry technology trends.
  • Partnering with the product management team to define new products and establish market requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Advising senior management on specialized business issues and competitive insights.

  • Significantly growing Synopsys' revenue in the System Solutions space, particularly Digital Twins.
  • Enhancing Synopsys' market share within the Automotive and Aerospace & Government sectors.
  • Driving innovation and creating new business opportunities through strategic executive connections.

  • Providing valuable insights and competitive intelligence to senior management.

What You’ll Need:

  • Current experience in sales or business development at a software or design services company.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit with proven deal creativity and closing experience.
  • Ability to identify and translate customer demands into product and sales revenue.
  • Experience in formulating and fostering ecosystem relationships.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with senior executives.
  • Technical knowledge of system tools and systems ecosystem.
  • Minimum of 25+ years of experience in the semiconductor and EDA industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
