You Are:

You are a seasoned Power Integrity Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the field, specializing in EMIR simulations and 3DIC packaging design. You possess a deep understanding of PDN fundamentals and have extensive hands-on experience with tools like Redhawk, SiWave, and HFSS. You excel at setting up test-benches and running frequency and transient simulations, designing for low noise/spur, SSN, and PSiJ. Your expertise extends to understanding how power delivery impacts PLLs, clocks, and overall system jitter.

You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have strong coordination and partnership skills. You thrive in cross-functional environments, working closely with Synopsys’ IP teams to translate electrical specifications into design requirements. You are innovative, with a proven ability to devise creative design solutions, and possess excellent organizational and planning skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing cutting-edge packaging solutions for leading 3DIC customers in the datacenter, AI/ML space.
  • Architecting power delivery systems, including multi-chip modules, substrates, PCBs, and on-die PDN models.
  • Setting up test-benches and running frequency and transient simulations for power integrity analysis.
  • Designing for low noise/spur, SSN, and PSiJ, and understanding their impact on overall system jitter.
  • Collaborating with Synopsys’ IP teams to translate electrical specifications into design requirements.
  • Working on innovative design solutions and contributing to the development of dependable systems.

  • Improving power delivery systems and reducing noise and jitter in complex multi-chip modules.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and technical excellence.
  • Ensuring the successful integration of Synopsys’ IP portfolio into customer designs.
  • Supporting the advancement of methodologies and automation in system solutions.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s, MS, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Power Integrity field.
  • Strong knowledge of Power/Signal Integrity fundamentals (PDN, EMIR, Basic Analog circuits, Transmission Line theory, Xtalk, S-parameters, channel simulations).
  • Experience with chip-level PDN analysis using Redhawk for EM-IR (both static and Dynamic), generated CPM models, etc.
  • Expertise in the Electromagnetics field with 5+ years of hands-on experience using 2.5D and 3DFEM solvers such as SiWave and HFSS.
  • System-level power integrity simulation experience: VRM + PCB + PKG + Interposer + Stacked dies.
