The Product Solution Sales Manager manages the sales of Synopsys’ Virtual Prototyping portfolio supporting our European customer’s development of software defined systems (such as Software Defined Vehicles (SDV)).

  • Drives pipeline, forecast and booking/revenue results.
  • Develop and implement a multi-year product sales strategy for Virtual Prototyping solutions in assigned region and accounts.
  • Develop and implement business development plans to meet product line and sales goals.
  • Manage and expand business with key automotive OEM/Tier 1 customers; identifies needs to be filled and works with internal groups to fill these needs.
  • Proactively initiate customer contact on a regular basis to understand their goals, challenges, and requirements for software development & system testing, and SDV initiatives.
  • Identify market potential by qualifying customers. Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products, processes, and services.
  • Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and providing feedback from customers
  • Gathers and assesses customer input from the field and key accounts.
  • Works with product and business management teams to ensure differentiated product offerings are available for customers in your territory.


The qualified candidate must be able to provide product and sales leadership to account sales teams and have proven experience calling “high” and helping to drive complex, solution-based sales campaign. The candidate needs to be able to coordinate sales campaigns that highlight to our customers how they can take the next leap in automotive software defined vehicles which will leverage and include digital twins with Virtual ECU, virtual hardware and virtual Vehicle simulation as well as software and system testing tools in a DevOps CI/CD environment. 

Job Requirements:
 The qualified candidate possesses:

  • >5 years related experience in technical selling, field applications engineering and /or sales management.
  • Business development skills with proven history developing and closing business opportunities.
  • Existing strong connection in automotive Tier1 and OEM preferred.
  • A working knowledge of automotive software development, system testing and market transition to software-defined vehicles.
  • The ability to grasp complex technical data and to communicate with a broad range of technical and non-technical people.
  • Knowledge of OEM/Tier1 automotive ECU and vehicle electronics development process.
  • Strong awareness of common software CI/CD development flows and system design knowledge  
  • Experience/awareness in vehicle networking, test system design/development.
  • Communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers’ engineering and business staff at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, physics or comparable



The Salary Range for this position is $146000-$220000
