You Are:

You are an experienced engineer with a passion for automotive systems and a deep understanding of the software development process, toolchains, and ECU architectures. You thrive in environments that challenge your technical skills and push you to innovate. You have a strong programming background, ideally in embedded systems, and you possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience. You are adept at solving complex problems and are always eager to learn and grow. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external customers. You are driven by the success of your customers, and you’re motivated by deadlines and results. You thrive in agile, fast-paced environments, and you can work both collaboratively and independently. Your friendly and open demeanor helps foster a productive and innovative atmosphere.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Utilizing Synopsys tools to assist customer engineers in transitioning from hardware-based development tools to simulation-driven development.
  • Providing guidance and support to customers as they move to virtual prototyping and electronic digital twins technologies.
  • Partnering with sales and customer technical leaders to identify business challenges and develop effective technical solutions.
  • Conducting product demonstrations, evaluations, and training sessions for new and existing customers.
  • Supporting product usage and tracking issues reported by customers to ensure high satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Providing feedback to R&D to enhance Synopsys products and promoting Synopsys technology at trade shows and seminars.

  • Accelerating the validation and development process for software-defined vehicles (SDVs) through virtual prototyping.
  • Enabling customers to meet their quality and time-to-market goals by adopting advanced simulation technologies.
  • Enhancing the productivity of customer teams and departments with virtualization technology.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement and innovation of Synopsys products based on customer feedback.
  • Increasing the utilization and retention of Synopsys products among current accounts.
  • Strengthening Synopsys' position as a leader in the automotive systems virtualization market.


What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years Hands-on experience in software development and testing of embedded systems.
  • Thorough understanding of the automotive software development process, toolchains, and ECU architectures.
  • Strong programming skills, ideally with experience in embedded software development.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automotive Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in an Application Engineering position is a plus.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards such as A2L and AUTOSAR, and familiarity with automotive protocols like CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and XCP.
  • Familiarity with processors such as ARM, TriCore, and PowerPC, and experience with scripting languages like Python or Tcl.
  • Knowledge of test automation, continuous integration, and test tools like Jenkins.
