You Are:

As a Senior Staff Applications Engineer based in Tokyo, you are passionate about technology and have a deep understanding of engineering principles. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to apply your expertise to support our go-to-market (GTM) initiatives within the Customer Success Group (CSG). With a robust background in applications engineering, you excel at problem-solving and are committed to delivering exceptional technical support and solutions to our clients. You are a proactive communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts into practical, user-friendly information. Your innovative mindset and collaborative spirit drive you to continuously improve product usability and customer satisfaction.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing advanced technical support and guidance to customers on the implementation and optimization of Synopsys products.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of customer requirements and providing tailored solutions to enhance product usability.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides and application notes.
  • Participating in the development and execution of training programs for customers and internal teams.
  • Engaging in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest industry trends and Synopsys product advancements.

What You’ll Need:

  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in applications engineering, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Synopsys products and solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and scripting languages.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
