What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing product sales activities for new and renewal business across assigned product lines to achieve or surpass revenue objectives.
  • Selling products and services through both telephone and face-to-face engagements.
  • Partnering with field and enterprise sales teams, as well as channel partners, to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue within an overall account strategy.
  • Identifying opportunities in current and new accounts and collaborating with the direct sales team to convert leads.
  • Facilitating communication with sales and technical teams regarding product capabilities, success stories, and winning strategies.
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
  • Participating in industry shows and conventions to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Creating advanced solution presentations tailored to customer needs, highlighting Synopsys’ advantages over competitors.
  • Coordinating technical support for demos, proof-of-concepts, evaluations, and training sessions.
  • Working with team members to develop clear and effective proposals, quotations, and value propositions.
  • Providing client feedback to product development and marketing teams to influence future offerings.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, engineering, business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technology applications with a proven track record, OR 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as ACE, DEV, Marketing, PM, and across organizational hierarchies.
  • Strong knowledge of sales fundamentals and understanding of product market positioning.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (local language of the territory).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
  • Proficiency in creating compelling presentations and proposals.
