You Are:
You are a driven and technically adept professional with a passion for semiconductor device simulation and customer success. With a background in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, First Principal Calculation you possess deep expertise in TCAD tools and solid-state device physics and are eager to apply your knowledge to real-world challenges in the power device arena and deep submicron devices like GAA and CFET. You thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments, and excel at bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs. Your five or more years of industry experience have honed your problem-solving skills, and you are comfortable operating at the intersection of engineering, sales, and R&D. You are proactive, self-motivated, and take ownership of your projects, always seeking to deliver exceptional outcomes for both your team and customers. Your communication skills, both in English and Japanese, enable you to build strong relationships across diverse teams and with key stakeholders. You have a knack for identifying areas for product improvement and enjoy working closely with development teams to drive innovation. Whether conducting technical presentations, supporting customer deployments, or leading product demonstrations, you bring energy, clarity, and technical depth. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Partnering with sales and R&D teams to define and drive TCAD product including First Principal Simulation direction based on evolving customer and market needs.
- Leading technical evaluations, benchmarks, and methodology presentations to demonstrate the value of Synopsys TCAD solutions in pre-sales engagements.
- Delivering compelling product pitches and live demonstrations to win new customer engagements.
- Providing post-sales support, including hands-on customer training, on-site assistance, and troubleshooting to ensure successful TCAD adoption.
- Collaborating with customers to solve complex technical challenges in power device design and methodologies, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Gathering and channeling customer feedback to R&D and product groups, influencing future enhancements and direction of Synopsys TCAD tools.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, training materials, and best practices to support customer success.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline from a reputed university.
- 5+ years of experience in device development/design using TCAD simulation tools.
- 3+ years of experience in semiconductor region using First Principal simulation tools.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor or solid-state device physics and power device and deep submicron device operation.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (Python, TCL, shell scripting) for simulation automation and data analysis.
- Practical experience with Linux environments and command-line tools.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; Japanese language skills are a plus.
- Desirable: PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science/Engineering; knowledge of AI/ML; semiconductor fabrication process expertise; experience with global, cross-functional teams.
