You Are:

You are an experienced aerospace systems engineer with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges in the Aerospace & Defense and Intelligence communities. You thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers. You have a keen understanding of technical requirements and can translate them into actionable strategies using advanced software tools. Your background in engineering, physics, or computer science provides a strong foundation for leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Digital Mission Engineering (DME), simulation, and model-based systems engineering. You possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues at all levels, from technical staff to C-suite executives. You are comfortable providing technical leadership, guiding customers in optimizing their workflows, and supporting the deployment of sophisticated software solutions. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and assist in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, including technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations, evaluations, and ongoing post-sales support.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Ansys product offerings to increase sales opportunities and customer adoption.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their system-level engineering requirements, analyze solutions using Ansys DME products (STK, ODTK, etc.), and articulate the value proposition.
  • Develop and implement holistic system-level solutions by integrating technologies such as model-based systems engineering, digital mission engineering, and core physics analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Account team, ACE teams, and customers to integrate high-fidelity analytical models into system-level workflows.
  • Support product development by translating customer feedback into new features, assist in designing feature implementation requirements, and testing product releases on real-world problems.
  • Partner with sales teams to strategize and execute approaches that maximize sales objectives and customer satisfaction, execute consulting services, and teach training classes.
  • Design and develop programming user interfaces, automation scripts, and integration code to support customer applications.
  • Work onsite 3 days a week with customers to implement best practices and solve real-world engineering problems.
  • Contribute to field and digital marketing efforts, author conference presentations, and support business development initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansys software or other engineering tools (mission simulation (STK, ODTK), MSBE, optimization, CAD).
  • Programming proficiency in one or more languages (C, C++, C#, Java, MATLAB, Python, or scripting languages).
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25% and possess DoD TS/SCI clearance.
