What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build automation scripts and tools to standardize deployment configurations and improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) projects using platforms such as Ansible, Terraform, or GitHub.
- Develop automated workflows for firewall policies, VPN provisioning, SASE platforms, and Zero Trust components.
- Apply AI tools and models for log analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive security alerting.
- Assist with troubleshooting network connectivity, authentication, and access issues.
- Support deployment and maintenance of global network security infrastructure, including remote access, wireless, SASE, and firewall systems.
- Explore generative AI for documentation, ticket response drafting, and knowledgebase creation.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and develop skillset with common automation tools and monitoring platforms.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Network certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, ZIA.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks like ScikitLearn, PyTorch, or Azure ML.
- Knowledge of backend databases (MS SQL, MySQL, ElasticDB, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with automation orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- General knowledge of NIST, CIS Benchmark, and/or STIG security frameworks.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto technologies.
- Understanding of industry best practice cryptography (NIST)
- Creative problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure.

- Program Length: 12 weeks (Summer Internship)
- Location: Sunnyvale, CA (preferred)
- Working Model: In-person
- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
