What You’ll Be Doing:

Drive generative AI to implement a Python tool that replicates MAPDL post1/post26 capabilities using the Ansys DataProcessing Framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, support) to gather requirements and fully understand the functional and technical scope of the project
Develop Proofs of Concept in Python to evaluate feasibility, performance, and integration possibilities of the proposed solutions
Document the development process, research outcomes, and technical choices

What You’ll Need:

Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Mechanics, or a related technical field
Proficiency in Python and C++ programming
Experience in computational mechanics and familiarity with FEA software
Exposure to or experience with generative AI for coding
Innovative mindset with a passion for simulation technology
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly
Collaborative team player with demonstrated experience contributing to group projects
Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and precision in analysis, documentation, and technical work

Program Length: 6 months (flexibility available to align with academic schedules or university requirements)
Location: Lyon Villeurbanne
Working Model: Office
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time (35 hour per week)
Start Date: summer 2026
