We are looking for an experienced Accountant, Staff to join our team. The scope of responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
  • Implements and/or maintains one or a combination of general accounting systems.
  • Prepares journal entries, maintains and reconciles ledger accounts.
  • Review and approve journal entries, payments, checking invoices, bank accounts and postings.
  • GL and Vendor reconciliation between systems and supporting docs.
  • Support on preparing monthly, quarterly reports to tax authorities and VAT refund
  • Review and approve certificates requested by employees.
  • Annual Financial Audit, Tax Audit, CIT preparation support.
  • Assist with the maintenance of an effective banking system including preparation of a monthly bank reconciliation.
  • Ensure that strict internal controls are complied with and maintained in all aspects of the organization.
  • Perform other relevant duties as may be required by immediate supervisor.
Key Qualifications
  • University degree, preferably in Accounting or Business, with a professional certification in accounting or alternatively an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience in accounting and finance.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in financial accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and local tax legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, IAS. Good knowledge of USGAAP is preferable.
  • Strong knowledge of 1C: Enterprise. SAP system knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Outlook and good knowledge of other MS Office applications.
  • Detail oriented, analytical and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork capacities.
  • High level of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with several teams.
  • ACCA certificate is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Armenian and English languages.
