You will lead key design projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet performance, reliability, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex analog circuits, including amplifiers, bandgap references, voltage regulators, filters, ADCs , and other mixed-signal systems. Ensure designs meet power, noise, accuracy, and thermal performance targets.
- Use advanced simulation tools (e.g., HSPICE, Primesim etc) to model and optimize circuits for performance, robustness, and manufacturability. Perform thorough simulations to predict behavior under various conditions and refine designs accordingly.
- Oversee layout design process to minimise effects of parasitics, device stress and process variation.
- Work closely with digital design engineers to ensure seamless integration between analog and digital components.
- Collaborate with system architects and other stakeholders to define product specifications and requirements.
- Provide clear and thorough documentation of design processes, decisions, and results, ensuring that designs can be easily understood, reproduced, and modified as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical development. Lead design reviews, providing technical leadership and insights to the broader engineering team. Take ownership of complex design challenges and drive solutions with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the analog design process by introducing new tools, techniques, and best practices. Collaborate with other engineering teams to refine design methodologies and improve product development timelines.
- Address and resolve design challenges related to performance, power consumption, and reliability in an efficient and timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in analog design. Bring new ideas and solutions that help keep the company at the forefront of analog technology.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in analog circuit design, with a proven track record of successful product development.
- Strong proficiency in analog design tools and simulation software (e.g., PrimeSim, HSPICE, Custom Compiler etc.).
- Deep knowledge of analog circuit design principles.
- Experience with Monte-Carlo simulations and analysis
- Experience in full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex analog circuits with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with advanced technology nodes (FinFet, GAA)
- Solid understanding of reliability and ESD concepts, in-depth knowledge of device physics.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide junior engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong analytical mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Verilog-A for analog behavioural modelling and simulation
- Experience with developing automotive products
- Scripting skills (Python, TCL, Shell etc)
Personal Attributes:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable products.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
