We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.

You Are:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Analog Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced CMOS analog circuits for on-die Process, Voltage and Temperature monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analog circuit design, simulation, and testing, along with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other engineering teams to ensure high-quality, high-performance products.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop and optimize analog circuits such as amplifiers, bandgap references, voltage regulators, oscillators, and data converters (ADC/DAC), meeting performance, power, and cost requirements.
  • Use industry-standard tools (e.g., HSPICE, PrimeSim etc) for circuit simulation, modeling, and analysis to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee layout design process to minimise effects of parasitics, device stress and process variation.
  • Work closely with digital design engineers to ensure seamless integration between analog and digital components.
  • Collaborate with system architects and other stakeholders to define product specifications and requirements.
  • Provide clear and thorough documentation of design processes, decisions, and results, ensuring that designs can be easily understood, reproduced, and modified as needed.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and interns.
  • Address and resolve design challenges related to performance, power consumption, and reliability in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Participate in design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in analog circuit design and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s design and testing methodologies

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog circuit design, with a proven track record of successful product development.
  • Strong proficiency in analog design tools and simulation software (e.g., PrimeSim, HSPICE, Custom Compiler etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of analog components such as operational amplifiers, voltage references, transistors, and passive components.
  • Experience with Monte-Carlo simulations and analysis
  • Experience in full product development lifecycle, from concept to production.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex analog circuits with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with advanced technology nodes (FinFet, GAA)
  • Solid understanding of reliability and ESD concepts, in-depth knowledge of device physics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in mentoring junior engineers and providing technical leadership within the team.
  • Knowledge of Verilog-A for analog behavioural modelling and simulation
  • Experience with developing automotive products
  • Scripting skills(Python, TCL, Shell etc)

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable products.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
