Applications Engineer, Staff Engineer

The Role:

As an Applications Engineer (AE) you will partner with our customers and internal teams to design and deploy solutions using Synopsys Analytics portfolio. 

This is a pre and post sales customer support role, and it is perfect for someone who is looking to develop a mix of technical and interpersonal skills and is committed to the success of our customers.

What you will do:

• Provide support to the regional AE teams to identify and solve our customers’ technical challenges
• Responsible for software internal and external validation.
• Provide methodology for new features, prepare demo and documentations.  
• Provide customers with all the necessary technical clarifications and metrics about products
• Develop solutions for customers 
• Responsible to organize technical training sessions with internal and external customers

What you will need:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
• Familiarity with UNIX operating systems
• Scripting TCL, Phyton, Perl
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with software and hardware testing and validation.
• Ability to develop and deliver technical training sessions.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing) is a must.
