You Are:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a deep passion for IC design and physical implementation. You are someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a keen eye for detail. You possess a robust technical background with extensive experience in physical design, particularly in the areas of Floor-Planning, Power Planning, CTS, Placement and Routing, and physical verification. You have a proven track record of leading projects to successful tape-outs and are adept at managing multi-hierarchical designs. Your expertise extends to scripting and programming, with proficiency in languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Python. You are well-versed in using Synopsys tools and methodologies, including IC Compiler 2, Fusion Compiler, Primetime, Star-RCXT, and Hercules/ICV. With 10 years of hands-on experience, you bring both strategic vision and practical know-how to the table, ready to tackle the challenges of advanced chip design at the latest technological nodes.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the physical design of multi-hierarchical IC designs, from Floor-Planning to physical verification.
- Collaborating closely with front-end and power-verification teams to ensure seamless integration and sign-off.
- Driving the synthesis, STA, timing-signoff, formal verification, EMIR signoff, and power-analysis processes.
- Developing and automating design flows to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and incorporating cutting-edge techniques into your work.

What You’ll Need:
- 10 years of experience in physical design with recent contributions to project tape-outs.
- Expertise in Floor-Planning, Power Planning, CTS, Placement and Routing, and physical verification.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming (Perl, Tcl, Python, etc.).
- Experience with Synopsys tools and methodologies including IC Compiler 2, Fusion Compiler, Primetime, Star-RCXT, and Hercules/ICV.
- A solid understanding of IC design, implementation flows, and sign-off methodologies for deep submicron design.
