You Are:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead the Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) Solutions Engineering team in Korea. As an ideal candidate, you are an experienced leader with a proven track record in managing diverse teams of engineers. You excel in Pre-Sales campaigns and have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of RTL, DFT, RTL2GDS/Place & Route, and Post-SI. Your experience includes supporting customers and managing customer interfacing teams, and you are adept at strategizing with Sales, working closely with R&D and Product Management Teams to drive product robustness and evolution based on market requirements. You possess strong technical skills and have a customer-first, results-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative approach are your hallmarks. You are ready to take on complex challenges with a winning mindset and manage a world-class team of engineers delivering high-end hardware solutions in the SLM space.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and managing the Silicon Lifecycle Management (SLM) Solutions Engineering team in Korea.
- Driving Pre-Sales campaigns and supporting Post-Sale activities in the region.
- Collaborating closely with R&D and Product Management Teams to enhance product robustness and align with market requirements.
- Strategizing with Sales to grow the SLM business.
- Managing customer relationships and interfacing with diverse customer teams.
- Overseeing regional team operations and coordinating activities across geographies.

- Strengthening customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction with Synopsys’ SLM solutions.
- Growing the SLM business in the region and expanding market reach.

- Contributing to the strategic direction and success of Synopsys’ SLM platform.
What You’ll Need:
- Strong technical expertise in RTL2GDS/Place & Route.
- Good to have understanding of DFT and Post-SI domains.
- Proven experience in managing customer interfacing teams and supporting customers.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and grow teams, with a collaborative approach and cross-functional alliance development.

The SLM team is a dynamic group dedicated to the monitoring, analysis, and optimization of semiconductor devices throughout their lifecycle. The team provides insights into critical performance, functionality, reliability, safety, and security issues for the entirety of a chip’s lifespan, enabling the optimization of operational activities for all participants throughout the life of the SoC.
