Unfortunately, with the rise of fraudulent recruiting tactics, it’s important to stay vigilant and informed. We genuinely care about your experience and want to ensure that your journey with us is safe and secure. 

We take the hiring process very seriously and value the time and effort of every candidate. Our official processes are designed to protect your privacy and provide a transparent recruitment experience. 

Know the Signs

To help you navigate this landscape, here are some red flags to watch out for when considering job offers: 

  • Email Domain

    If you receive communication from an email address that does not end in @synopsys.com, it’s a warning sign. 

  • Communication Methods

    Be cautious if your interactions are limited to online messaging or social media without any live conversations via Zoom or face-to-face meetings.

  • LinkedIn Profile

    A recruiter with a newly created LinkedIn profile, few connections, or missing employer details may not be legitimate.

  • Job Requisition Verification

    Always verify that the position you are applying for includes the same identifying number that is listed in our official careers portal.

  • Immediate Job Offers

    If you receive a job offer almost immediately without a formal application or interview process, this is not something we would ever do.

  • Payment Requests

    Legitimate recruiters will never ask you to pay for pre-hire costs, such as background checks or travel expenses.

  • Personal Information Requests

    Be wary if you are asked for sensitive personal information, like your Social Security Number or bank details, outside of our formal background process.

If you encounter any of these situations, it’s likely that you are not dealing with a legitimate Synopsys recruiter or hiring manager. Remember, our recruiters will never ask for bank account information or request payment during the interview process. We also require candidates to create an applicant profile in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) before any job offers are made.
