We Are

Synopsys is the leader in engineering solutions from silicon to systems, enabling customers to rapidly innovate AI-powered products. We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.

You Are

You have spent years in the semiconductor ecosystem and understand that foundries are not just fabrication partners, they are the linchpin of every IP roadmap and customer commitment. You know the difference between a FinFET process node on a slide deck and what actually tapes out with GAA, and you have built the relationships that let you get the real answer.

You are equally comfortable sitting with a foundry's business development team discussing their 3nm GAA roadmap as you are translating that conversation into a dashboard that product managers can use to make IP decisions. When a sales team asks which foundry technology to position for an automotive customer or when R&D needs a test chip slot for IP, you already have the answer or know exactly who to call. You see patterns across foundries, customers, and IP providers, and you use that perspective to guide strategy. At Synopsys, you will be the bridge between our foundry partners and every team that depends on them.

What You'll Be Doing

Serve as the primary contact for sales and product teams on foundry technology availability, roadmaps, and FinFET to GAA transitions across foundry partners

Build and maintain deep relationships with foundry business development teams to get fast answers, coordinate meetings, and stay ahead of roadmap shifts

Collect, assess, and distribute foundry intelligence on process roadmaps and technology changes that impact Synopsys IP schedules and competitive positioning against others IP companies

Maintain a live dashboard of foundry technology roadmaps, Synopsys IP availability by node, and foundry-specific presentation materials

Coordinate test chip planning with foundries for IP validation, aligning tape-outs with IP roadmaps and customer demand

Analyze customer demand and competitive IP landscape to provide feedback to foundries on application priorities across HPC, AI, IoT, automotive, and consumer segments

Present foundry technology strategy, FinFET to GAA transitions, and IP ecosystem updates to internal teams and represent Synopsys at foundry seminars

The Impact You Will Have

Enable faster product decisions by giving teams real-time visibility into foundry technology roadmaps and GAA readiness

Strengthen Synopsys relationships with foundries by being a trusted business development contact

Accelerate sales cycles by equipping account teams with the right foundry technology positioning for each customer's IP needs

Reduce schedule risk by surfacing foundry process changes and technology migrations early enough for IP teams to adjust roadmaps

Influence foundry priorities by channeling clear feedback on where customers are heading and what technologies matter most for competitive IP positioning

Improve internal alignment by creating a single source of truth on foundry technology trends and IP ecosystem dynamics

What You'll Need

Experience in the semiconductor industry with direct exposure to foundry technology operations, business development, or IP ecosystem management

At least 15 years in product marketing, product management, or business development, ideally interfacing with foundries or IP companies

Deep technical knowledge of foundry technology, you can explain the differences between FinFET and GAA, between process nodes, and how they impact IP design

Understanding of the IP landscape and competitive positioning across providers

Existing relationships with foundry business development teams at leading foundries is a strong plus

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, graduate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

Fluency in English and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint

Who You Are

You can walk into a meeting with a foundry's business development team and walk out with clarity on their GAA timeline, their top customers, and how it affects your IP roadmap

You see the IP ecosystem as a competitive landscape and can position Synopsys IP based on foundry technology readiness

You are organized enough to manage dashboards tracking multiple foundries, process nodes, and IP product lines without losing track of what matters

You can create a presentation explaining FinFET to GAA transitions for customers and another breaking down foundry strategy for executives, and both will be clear

You push back when a foundry gives you a vague answer or when an internal team asks for positioning without enough context

Position may be based in Korea or Taiwan

At Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work. Synopsys considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, military veteran status, or disability.
