We Are:
At Synopsys, we drive the innovations that shape the way we live and connect. Our technology is central to the Era of Pervasive Intelligence, from self-driving cars to learning machines. We lead in chip design, verification, and IP integration, empowering the creation of high-performance silicon chips and software content. Join us to transform the future through continuous technological innovation.
You Are:
You are an experienced web developer who does well in a small, highly effective team where individual work has clear impact. You work independently, take ownership from concept through deployment, and make sound technical decisions with little supervision.
You are equally comfortable discussing user experience with business stakeholders and implementation details with engineers. You listen, write in clear language, and leave work that others can run and extend.
This is a full-time role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications and services.
- Work across the full technology stack, including front-end, back-end, database, and cloud components.
- Design and implement solutions using the PANN technology stack and associated development frameworks.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, product, and business teams to define and deliver high-value solutions.
- Build intuitive and effective user experiences that simplify complex workflows.
- Design and optimize relational and non-relational database solutions.
- Develop AI-enabled capabilities that support automation, data analysis, content generation, and knowledge extraction.
- Create integrations between business systems, knowledge repositories, and AI services.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend practical solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and user productivity.
- Support operational excellence through monitoring, maintenance, performance optimization, and continuous improvement.
he Impact You Will Have:
- Accelerate delivery of critical internal platforms and business capabilities.
- Improve employee productivity through intelligent automation and AI-driven workflows.
- Enable better decision-making through effective access to organizational knowledge and data.
- Create scalable solutions that can be adopted across multiple business functions.
- Reduce manual effort and operational overhead through automation and system integration.
- Help shape the technical direction of a growing platform that supports strategic business initiatives.
- Serve as a key technical contributor in a small team where individual impact is highly visible.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 6 or more years developing enterprise web applications. Stronger evidence of full-stack delivery and production ownership can offset fewer years.
- Strong experience with the PANN technology stack (PostgreSQL, Angular, NestJS, Node.js) and modern web development frameworks.
- Experience designing and developing microservices architectures.
- Experience using Prisma for data modeling, database access, and schema migrations.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and modern application architectures.
- Experience designing, developing, and optimizing relational and non-relational databases and administering PostgreSQL.
- Experience containerizing applications and services with Docker or Kubernetes, and deploying, configuring, and managing web servers, load balancers, and reverse proxies such as Nginx and Apache.
- Experience with cloud-based application development and deployment.
- Experience building and maintaining continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment pipelines.
- Practical experience with AI technologies, including large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), knowledge extraction, and automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle practices, testing methodologies, and secure coding principles.
- Experience integrating multiple systems through APIs and data services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Who You Are:
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently.
- Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on implementation.
- Curious about emerging technologies and eager to apply them to real business problems.
- A strong problem solver who can work with incomplete information and still deliver practical outcomes.
- Customer-focused and attentive to user experience (U/X).
- Collaborative and effective with people outside your own function.
- Comfortable working in a small team where ownership and accountability are expected.
- Results-oriented and focused on delivering measurable business value.
The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
Our team develops platforms and capabilities that help scale cybersecurity, compliance, engineering, and business operations across the organization. We operate with a startup mindset, focusing on high-impact initiatives, rapid execution, and practical innovation. You will work closely with a small group of technical and domain experts to build solutions that enable automation, knowledge management, and data-driven decision making.
