Paralegal Senior Associate

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the contract processing procedure.
• Assist in preparation of documentation needed for legal related matters.
• Draft correspondence and communicate with sales, vendors, other department and outside counsel.
• Assist in the management of subsidiaries.
• Maintain files and other administrative works.
• Manage all company seals for Chinese site locations, including reviewing and approving company seal requests and maintaining required records.
• Manage government subsidy applications and supporting documentation for Chinese site locations.
• Ad-hoc escalations and periodic reporting to the Ethics & Compliance team regarding company seals or government subsidies.
• Partner with Finance, Go-to-Market, Internal Audit, and other Business Units regarding company seal and government subsidy management in China.
• Other matters as instructed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
Proficiency in legal research tools and databases
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with e-filing systems and case management software.
The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
You will be a key member of the international legal team in the Asia-Pacific Region, supporting the international licensing contract team and managing Synopsys’ corporate seals and government subsidy processes in China. You will report to the lead counsel in China and have a dotted line to the lead paralegal in the Asia-Pacific Region.
