You Are:
You are a highly motivated and innovative digital design engineer with a strong background in ASIC development flow. You have a passion for high-speed serializer and data recovery circuits and are experienced with PCIe and Ethernet protocols. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to work with a team of experts in delivering high-end mixed-signal designs. You are proactive, self-motivated, and capable of balancing good design quality with tight deadlines. You enjoy resolving issues creatively and exercising independent judgment in your work. You are a good communicator, able to interact effectively with different design groups and customer support teams, and you can produce excellent results both as an individual and as a team contributor.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing and verifying digital blocks for high-speed serializer and data recovery circuits.
- Writing block-level test-cases, including constrained directed random tests.
- Integrating PHY and controller using Verilog/System Verilog.
- Defining synthesis design constraints and resolving STA issues.
- Enhancing and maintaining existing SERDES subsystems supporting multiple protocols.
- Collaborating with Application Engineers for customer support and resolving technical issues with Analog and P&R teams.

- Contributing to the development of next-generation NRZ and PAM-based SerDes products.
- Ensuring high-quality digital design and verification processes.
- Accelerating the integration of more capabilities into SoCs, meeting unique performance, power, and size requirements.
- Reducing risk and time-to-market for differentiated products.
- Providing technical guidance to junior peers and networking with senior personnel.
- Driving innovation in digital signal processing and data recovery circuits.
What You’ll Need:
- BSEE or MSEE plus a minimum of 2 years of digital design and verification experience in the industry.
- Good experience in writing block-level test-cases including constrained directed random tests.
- Familiarity with Verilog and VCS, and knowledge of back-end synthesis tools FC/PT.
- Knowledge of digital design methodologies, ATE production testing, DFT insertion, and synthesis constraints and flows.
- Scripting experience in Shell, Perl, Python, and TCL is a plus.
- Good theoretical and practical understanding of digital signal processing and data recovery circuits.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
You will be part of a highly experienced mixed-signal design and verification team, targeting the next generation NRZ and PAM-based SerDes products. The team is responsible for delivering high-end mixed-signal designs from specification development to performing functional and performance tests on prototype test-chips. You will have the opportunity to work with an expert team of digital and mixed-signal engineers, providing continuous on-the-job training and assignments in a dynamic and challenging environment.
