Lead Development, Coordinator (LDR)
We Are

We deliver industry-leading silicon design, IP, simulation and analysis solutions, and design services. We partner closely with our customers across a wide range of industries to maximize their R&D capability and productivity, powering innovation today that ignites the ingenuity of tomorrow.
You Are
You have learned that a great lead is not just a name in a database, it is a conversation that goes somewhere. You know how to listen for the signal in a five-minute call, how to ask the question that separates someone browsing from someone ready to move, and how to hand that intelligence to sales in a way that makes their job easier, not harder. You are comfortable picking up the phone, working through objections without taking them personally, and keeping track of fifty threads at once without losing sight of what actually matters.
You do not wait for perfect scripts. You adapt, you learn what works in real time, and you refine your approach based on what you hear, not just what you were told to say. Working across marketing, sales, and channel partners does not intimidate you because you understand that alignment is built through clarity, follow-through, and showing up prepared. You are organized enough to manage volume and curious enough to keep improving how you qualify, route, and engage. At Synopsys, you will be the bridge between interest and opportunity, and the leads you develop will directly fuel the pipeline for our Software & Analytics business in DACH.
What You'll Be Doing
- Qualify inbound leads from campaigns, events, webinars, and web inquiries to determine sales readiness based on defined criteria for our Software & Analytics business
- Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-up calls to engage prospects in the DACH territory, asking the right questions to understand their needs and timeline
- Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales or channel partner owner based on business segmentation, territory, and opportunity fit
- Update Salesforce with detailed lead information, contact intelligence, and account insights gathered from every engagement
- Support Synopsys events and tradeshows by engaging attendees, capturing lead data, and following up post-event to move conversations forward
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and channel teams to align on campaign goals, lead definitions, and feedback loops that improve lead quality over time
- Use social media and insight tools to research accounts, identify decision makers, and build relationship maps that help sales engage more effectively
The Impact You Will Have
- You will directly influence pipeline growth by delivering sales-ready leads that convert because they were qualified with intent and context, not just checked off a list
- Your feedback from prospect conversations will shape how marketing positions campaigns and messaging for the DACH market
- Sales teams will close deals faster because the leads you hand them come with real intelligence, not just a form fill
- You will help refine the lead qualification process by identifying what works, what does not, and where the handoff can be tighter
- Channel partners will have better visibility into opportunities because you ensure leads are routed correctly and followed up consistently
- The CRM data you maintain will become a trusted source of account intelligence that the broader team relies on for planning and prioritization
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or 4 years of full-time work experience with a high school diploma
- Experience in inside sales, lead development, marketing coordination, or a customer-facing role where you managed inquiries and qualified opportunities
- Comfort using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to log activity, track leads, and maintain data accuracy
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken, you will be engaging prospects in both languages daily
- A track record of initiating phone conversations, handling objections, and moving prospects through a qualification process
- Technical aptitude or experience in an industrial, technical, or B2B sales environment is a strong plus
- Familiarity with social media platforms like LinkedIn for prospecting and account research is helpful
- You will need to be open for change management as we transition into one team.
Who You Are
- You can pick up the phone fifty times a day and still make the fiftieth call sound like the first one, engaged and curious
- You know when to push for more information and when to step back, reading tone and timing without needing a script
- You are organized enough to manage a high volume of leads without dropping threads or losing track of follow-ups
- You can explain to a sales rep in two sentences why a lead is worth their time, or why it is not, and back it up with what you heard
- You adapt quickly when a campaign changes, a process shifts, or feedback from sales suggests a different approach
- You take direction well and apply coaching to improve your qualification skills, objection handling, and messaging over time
The Team You'll Be Part Of
You will be part of the Lead Development team supporting the Software & Analytics business at Synopsys, working closely with marketing, sales, and channel partners across the DACH region. Your recruiter will share more about the team structure, reporting lines, and how this role fits into broader demand generation efforts during the interview process.
Rewards and Benefits
We offer a comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits to cater to your needs. Our total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings. Your recruiter will provide more details about the salary range and benefits during the hiring process.
At Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work. Synopsys considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, military veteran status, or disability.
