You Are:

You are an experienced and driven Principal R&D Engineer with a passion for developing cutting-edge solutions in the field of physical verification and design. With a minimum of 15 years of experience in developing large-scale applications, you possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record of leading projects with maximum ownership. You thrive in a collaborative environment, mentoring junior team members and driving projects from specification to development while interacting effectively with customers. Your proficiency in C/C++ development and willingness to learn new languages, such as ICV PXL, sets you apart. You have a deep understanding of design thinking, design patterns, and software design principles. Previous experience in EDA software development, especially in placement and route flow/physical design, is a significant plus. Your exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills make you an ideal fit for our team.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing ICV-based solutions primarily within ICC2/Fusion Compiler.
  • Working on physical verification related solution development at the post-route stage.
  • Creating complete solutions for metal fill, track-based fill, power ground augmentation, and thermal integrity in advanced nodes.
  • Ensuring solutions honor physical design rule constraints (DRC checks), timing, and IR drop constraints.
  • Leading projects from specification to development with high ownership and interacting with customers.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members in technical and professional growth.
