Sr. Architect – Mask Solutions
Job Overview
Sr. Architect for Mask Solutions team is responsible for driving innovation in computational solutions for mask synthesis, verification, and optimization. This role spans algorithmic discovery, system architecture definition, and guiding product implementation for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. Working within an agile development environment, the Sr. Architect will lead technical problem-solving at the system level, coordinate development priorities, and ensure successful productization. Success in this role is measured by a unique combination of EDA innovation and technical leadership, delivering breakthrough solutions for next-generation mask synthesis.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with developers and architects to design, specify, develop and validate advanced computational systems for mask synthesis.
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Engage regularly with Product Engineering and Marketing to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Define and contribute to the innovation roadmap for mask synthesis technologies.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
- 15+ years of industry experience with 5+ years of experience as an architect
Essential Skills
- Experience as an architect in semi-manufacturing areas such as
- Mask Error Correction (MEC)
- Optical Proximity Correction (OPC)/ ILT
- Mask Data Preparation (MDP)
- Deep technical knowledge of geometric data processing in Manhattan/all angle/Multigon (Curvilinear) forms
- Expertise in HPC (high performance computing) for large scale workloads
- Excellent programming, algorithms and programming skills
- Exceptional troubleshooting and collaborative skills.
