What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain Functional and Technical Safety Concepts in alignment with ISO 26262 requirements and ASIL targets.
- Define safety goals, derive and allocate functional and technical safety requirements across system, hardware, and software levels.
- Perform detailed safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA) to identify failure modes and their effects, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain all required ISO 26262 work products, including Safety Plan, Safety Requirements Specifications, Verification Plan, Safety Manual, and Safety Case.
- Work closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate safety requirements and facilitate reviews for consistent application.
- Lead internal functional safety audits/assessments and external certification activities, addressing audit findings and verifying corrective actions.
- Drive improvements in internal safety processes, guidelines, workflows, and best practices, while staying current with evolving safety standards.

What You’ll Need:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience infunctional safety engineering or safety-critical systems development.
- Proven experience delivering ISO 26262 (or equivalent)–compliant projects from concept to production.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 processes across management, concept, system, hardware, and software phases.
- Hands-on experience performing safety analyses (FMEA, FTA, FMEDA) and deriving safety requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to produce and maintain audit-ready safety documentation (Safety Plan, Safety Requirements, Safety Case).
- Solid understanding of embedded systems and electronic design automation tools, with emphasis on safety integration across domains.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
