You Are:
You are a skilled mid-level data analysis and automation engineer with a passion for turning raw data into meaningful insights that drive business success. You thrive in an international, collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and deliver impactful analytics solutions. Your expertise with Power BI, SQL, and Python enables you to design and develop intuitive dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses that support informed decision-making. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at troubleshooting, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all your work. Fluent in English, you communicate clearly and effectively, bridging technical and business perspectives. You enjoy optimizing performance, documenting processes, and finding innovative ways to automate reporting tasks. Whether working independently or within a team, you manage multiple priorities with confidence and accountability. You are motivated by continuous improvement and eager to contribute to scalable solutions that create real business impact. If you have experience with DAX, ETL, Agile environments, or GitLab, you bring even more value to the role. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business requirements.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document analytics and reporting needs.
- Translating business questions into effective data models, DAX calculations, and visualizations.
- Working with structured and semi-structured data from files (CSV, Excel) and Snowflake as primary data sources.
- Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all dashboards and reports.
- Optimizing Power BI reports and data models for performance and usability.
- Troubleshooting issues in data, models, and visualizations, and providing ongoing support for Power BI solutions.
- Maintaining clear documentation for reporting datasets and analytics workflows.
- Using Python to create ad-hoc analyses and reports that complement dashboards and support deeper insights.
What You’ll Need:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data analysis, or similar fields.
- Proficiency with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and business intelligence best practices.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and ad-hoc reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Fluent English communication skills for effective collaboration with international teams.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience with DAX optimization and complex calculations is a plus.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data pipelines, Agile development, or GitLab is a bonus.
