What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and optimize PCB layouts for cutting-edge HAPS hardware platforms, focusing on high-speed and high-density applications.
  • Collaborate with global teams to perform placement of small and large PCBAs, ensuring efficient use of space and signal integrity.
  • Execute complex routing tasks across multi-layer boards (from 8–16 layers up to 50+ layers), including blind and buried vias.
  • Work closely with colleagues on stack-up design and collaboration, contributing to robust and reliable board architectures.
  • Generate and manage PCB deliverables, including manufacturing files, BOMs, and assembly documentation.
  • Conduct DFx (Design for Excellence) checks, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and update EDA libraries, supporting rapid development and accurate component integration.
  • Participate in schematic entry, constraint management, and overall hardware design workflow.

The Impact You Will Have:

  • Enable Synopsys to deliver industry-leading FPGA-based prototyping systems for semiconductor innovation.
  • Enhance product reliability and performance through meticulous PCB design and layout optimization.
  • Accelerate development cycles by collaborating across time zones and ensuring seamless deliverables.
  • Support high-speed signaling and connectivity, powering next-generation AI, automotive, and IoT solutions.
  • Drive improvements in manufacturability and quality, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction.

  • Proficiency in industry-standard EDA tools: Allegro, Altium, or Zuken CR-8000.
  • Strong skills in high-speed/high-density board layout, including advanced via technologies (blind/buried vias).
  • Experience with all phases of hardware development: schematic entry, constraint management, and board layout.
  • Excellent English communication skills—verbal and written—to interface with global teams.
  • Experience in at least three key areas: PCB placement, routing, stack-up collaboration, deliverable generation, DFx checks, or EDA library management.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with AMD FPGA layout and programming/scripting abilities.

Who You Are:

  • Collaborative team player who values kindness and helps others succeed.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for innovation.
  • Quick learner, open to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Effective communicator, able to bridge technical and non-technical perspectives.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
