You have a solid understanding of processor-based SOC level verification and are proficient in various verification tools and methodologies. Your experience includes working with scripting languages and a deep knowledge of design concepts and ASIC flow. You are also a natural leader, capable of mentoring junior engineers and guiding them through complex challenges. Above all, you are committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest advancements in your field.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Understanding design specifications, defining verification scope, and developing test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure.
- Implementing and analyzing System Verilog assertions and coverage (code, toggle, functional).
- Collaborating with verification team members to develop and execute verification test cases and provide relevant solutions to issues.
- Leading and mentoring junior engineers, offering guidance and support in debugging complex problems.
- Working closely with architects, designers, and pre- and post-silicon verification teams to accomplish tasks.
- Adhering to quality standards and best practices in test and verification.
- Staying updated on new verification tools and methodologies using Synopsys products to enable customer success.
- Developing innovative solutions to problems with minimal guidance and implementing them independently.
- Setting task-level goals and consistently meeting schedules.
- Collaborating with other Synopsys teams, including BU AEs and Sales, to develop and deploy tool and IP solutions.

What You’ll Need:
- B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M. Tech in electronics with 2-6 years of experience in the verification domain.
- Experience in IP level or SOC level verification.
- Proficiency in processor-based SOC level verification, including native, Verilog, System Verilog, and UVM environments.
- Hands-on experience with verification tools such as VCS, waveform analyzers, and third-party VIP integration (e.g., Synopsys VIPs).
- Expertise in UVM, C/C++, and System Verilog verification languages.
- Strong understanding of AXI-AMBA protocol variants.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., shell, Makefile, Perl).
- In-depth knowledge of design concepts and ASIC flow.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Experience with ARM core verification and protocols such as USB, PCIe, and MIPI is desirable.

The Team You’ll Be A Part Of:
The role is for SoC Verification in the System Solutions Group (SSG). The role primarily requires development and implementation of System Design Solutions using Synopsys EDA tools and IP to solve customer problems as part of a service project team. The Systems Solutions Group (SSG) delivers tool, methodology, architecture, design creation, design verification, and physical implementation expertise to enable leading-edge customers to complete their most challenging SoC design projects. Our work spans from sub-blocks to full turnkey end-to-end SoCs. Our customers range from start-ups to industry leaders, commercial companies, and government agencies. Our customers develop SOCs for high-performance computing, automotive, aerospace & defense, and more.
