You Are:
You are a highly skilled Storage Administrator with over seven years of hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale storage environments. You thrive in high-stakes, 24×7 operational setups and are passionate about ensuring the availability, performance, and security of mission-critical workloads. Your expertise spans across NetApp ONTAP, Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade, and complex NFS/SAN infrastructures, and you are adept at both day-to-day management and advanced troubleshooting.
Meticulous and proactive, you have a deep understanding of storage architectures and best practices, and you stay current with evolving technologies in the data storage landscape. You’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. Your communication skills are strong, enabling you to clearly document processes and articulate technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders. You excel at managing incidents, monitoring performance, and optimizing storage solutions for efficiency and scalability.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Administering and optimizing NetApp clusters, nodes, SVMs, aggregates, volumes, LUNs, and qtrees for high performance and availability.
- Managing Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade environments using GUI, CLI, REST APIs, and Pure1 portal, including upgrades and capacity expansions.
- Troubleshooting and resolving storage issues, NFS mount failures, access/permission problems, UID/GID mismatches, and Linux storage errors.
- Monitoring and managing enterprise storage infrastructure, including performance metrics, capacity planning, alerts, and incident tickets.
- Executing data protection and replication strategies using NetApp Snapshots, SnapVault, SnapMirror, Pure SafeMode, and Cohesity/Commvault backup tools.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for incident resolution, participating in root cause analysis, and maintaining comprehensive documentation, reports, and architecture diagrams.
- Providing L2/L3 support, participating in a 24×7 operational rotation, and ensuring operational excellence across storage services.

What You’ll Need:
- 4+ years of experience in enterprise storage administration, with a focus on NetApp ONTAP 9.x and Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade.
- Expertise in NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, Fibre Channel protocols, and Linux storage troubleshooting.
- Proven experience with data protection, replication technologies, and backup tools such as NetApp Snapshots, SnapVault, SnapMirror, Pure SafeMode, Cohesity/Commvault.
- Strong knowledge of storage zoning, multipathing, HBA troubleshooting, and capacity/performance management.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex storage issues, including mount failures, file system permissions, and connectivity challenges.
- Familiarity with scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and automation (Ansible) is a plus.
