What You’ll Be Doing:
- Applying your deep optics and photonics engineeringexpertiseto provide high-level technical support for AnsysLumericalcustomers and channel partners.
- Owning customer problems, proactively engaging with key accounts, and delivering comprehensive solutions throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle.
- Conducting introductory, intermediate, and advanced training sessions for customers, and scoping/delivering professional services projects.
- Gathering customer requirements and market trends to inform improvements to Ansys software; collaborating with product development teams to translate feedback into new features.
- Testing new software releases on real-world industrial problems and providing feedback to enhance product performance and usability.
- Participating in internal initiatives to share knowledge,establishbest practices, and develop simulation solutions and FAQs for the knowledge base.

What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Optoelectronics, Electrical Engineering, ora relatedfield.
- Professional experience in a relevant engineering domain (5 years with a BS, 3 years with an MS, or a PhD).
- Solid knowledge of optical and photonics theory, with practical application in simulation environments.
- Familiarity with AnsysLumericalor other commercial optical/photonics simulation tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of simplifying and addressing complex engineering challenges.
- Proficiencyin English and at least one local language (Singapore or Malaysia).
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
