You Are:
A seasoned engineer with over five years of experience in virtual prototyping and embedded systems, you bring deep expertise in SystemC, C++, and Python. Comfortable leading R&D initiatives, mentoring peers, and collaborating across teams, your strong analytical mindset and technical leadership set you apart. Skilled in debugging complex software stacks, you balance accuracy, performance, and usability to deliver innovative solutions. What You’ll Be Doing:
•Lead R&D initiatives in virtual prototyping using Synopsys Virtualizer™ to enable early software development and architectural exploration.
•Define, evolve, and implement SystemC modeling standards and virtual platform architectures for complex embedded and SoC-based systems.
•Architect and develop SystemC/TLM2.0 models, integrating C++ models for CPUs, interconnects, memories, and peripherals within the Virtualizer environment.
•Customize and configure Virtualizer platforms to support early firmware, bootloader development, and Linux/RTOS bring-up and debugging.
•Optimize virtual platforms for performance, scalability, and usability, integrating with debuggers, build systems, and CI pipelines.
•Drive advanced software debugging, conducting deep root-cause analysis across hardware models and software stacks, and implementing long-term fixes and improvements.
•Utilize Python for Virtualizer automation, simulation orchestration, and test/regression frameworks.
•Conduct design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and foster technical excellence across teams.

What You’ll Need:
•5+ years of professional experience in virtual prototyping, R&D, and embedded systems.
•Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering, graduated with Very Good with Honors or GPA ≥ 3.5.
•Expert-level proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17 or later), with advanced software debugging skills.
•Very strong SystemC expertise, including TLM2.0, loosely/approximately timed modeling, timing, synchronization, and model composition.
•Python proficiency for automation, scripting, and testing in complex simulation environments.
•Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture (ARM/RISC-V processors, memory-mapped I/O, interrupts, DMA, timers, interconnects).
•Excellent command of Linux, including development and debugging workflows.
•Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).
•Military service status: completed or exempted.
•Hands-on experience with Synopsys Virtualizer™ and knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) are assets.
