What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform interactive and automated testing of software to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Debug tests, identify, and document new software defects as applicable.
- Review and investigate existing defects to help drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with developers across different teams to resolve issues and deliver impactful results.
- Create new automated tests using internal tools and analyze results, communicating findings to team members.
- Adhere to quality procedures and standards when performing assigned tests, contributing to overall team excellence.
What You’ll Need:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship.
- Hands-on experience with debugging software or hardware issues is preferred.
- Strong desire to develop coding skills and an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Exposure to, or strong interest in, engineering simulation software is a plus.
- Strong Windows system skills and exposure to Linux operating systems are desirable.
- Previous experience with coding is beneficial but not required.
